I have 40 years of successful teaching experience initiating improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice. This experience has led to facilitation of principal, teacher, student, parent/carer, and support staff learning in educational settings to improve students’ academic and social outcomes.  My diverse roles include Deputy Principal; NSW Board of Studies Liaison Officer (North Coast); Head Teacher: HSIE; Learning and Wellbeing Officer, Mid North Coast, NSW Dept of Education; Teaching and Learning Consultant K-12, Year Advisor, Careers Advisor and Learning and Support Teacher.

As a member of the NSW Delivery Team for Positive Partnerships (Autism Spectrum Australia: Teacher Professional Learning and Parent/Carer workshops) I developed state of art skills in professional learning and parent/carer education for students with diverse and complex learning needs. I have the interpersonal and oral and written skills to facilitate liaison with specialist personnel and schools to ensure coordinated delivery of support for students with additional learning needs.

I hold a Doctorate in Education from the University of New England. My research featuring recent developments in neuroscience and education and emotional and social learning enables me to provide unique assistance to every student and professional support to their teachers. I also hold a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) degree focusing on emotional intelligence and cognitive performance.
